Time is running out for a decorating industry qualification scheme
Categories: Industry News | Tags: None
The clock is ticking to sign-up for a training scheme operated by the Painting and Decorating Association, with support from CITB, which enables decorators to gain an NVQ Level 2 in Decorative Finishing.
Available to both members and non-members of the PDA alike – the cost to achieve the NVQ could be just £180, depending on individual circumstances.
The programme also enables those with significant experience in the trade to achieve the qualification through assessments on-site without the need for college visits.
Ann Cook, of Ann Cook Associates – which is managing the programme – said: “This is a great opportunity for painters and decorators seeking a professional qualification.
“Depending on your commitment and keeping to the target dates set by the Assessor, the qualification can be achieved within three to six months from your first assessment visit.
“However, to receive the associated funding, those taking part must complete the programme by the 30th November 2018 at the latest.”
Those interested in the programme can contact Ann Cook in daytime hours on 0121 451 1665 or 07961 432628. Alternatively, email firstname.lastname@example.org
