NOVUS EXPANDS RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN AFTER STOKE SUCCESS
National property maintenance, refurbishment and new build contractor, Novus Property Solutions, is expanding its search for skilled tradespeople across the whole of the UK following the success of its campaign in Stoke-on-Trent.
Novus hosted a drop-in event at its head office in Stoke-on-Trent in April with the aim of meeting potential subcontractor partners who can support Novus’ employees on key projects.
Neil Hand, managing director at Novus Property Solutions said: “At Novus, we directly employ a talented and hardworking team of tradespeople, many of whom have come through our dedicated apprenticeship scheme.
“While we will continue to recruit staff directly, our continued growth means that we sometimes require support from local subcontractors. We’re looking to build a network of trusted partners to help ensure that we continue to offer our customers the level of service that they associate with the Novus name.”
The campaign reached out to tradespeople in the city via social media, with the aim of attracting potential partners to the event. In the end, over 100 people visited the office on the day to meet with Novus’ operations team and discuss the opportunities available.
Following the successful event, the company has opted to roll the events out to eight other locations across the UK, including Scotland, East Anglia and the South East, where skilled tradespeople can attend the drop-in sessions to find out more about partnering with Novus in their area.
Neil continued: “The event in Stoke was a great success, and I am confident that the types of partnership that we are offering will be just as popular throughout the rest of the UK. We pride ourselves on offering favourable payment terms and we are able to offer tradespeople the opportunity to develop their business.”
Offering a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance, refurbishments and new build, Novus operates in the commercial, leisure, education, healthcare, housing and heritage sectors.
